Simple French Door fix
My youngest son is the only one on our floor to have a French door on his bedroom. I thought about changing out the whole door and putting it on my pantry or laundry room but this door is smaller than the average door so it didn't fit any of the other frames. For a long time I just put up a bed sheet which looked boarder-line awful! Ok, it did look utterly awful! So, yesterday I had about enough of him pulling it down twice a day. I trucked off to Target to find a proper curtain and rod... nothing was moving me to happiness. In my last effort I decided to try the shower curtain isle... and found something that would work... even though it was a SHOWER CURTAIN. It was on sale for $10.99. Can't beat that for a "curtain". It have plans to do his room in navy and white. I want to add wainscoting on the bottom half in white than the navy blue on the top part.

Board line? Hee hee...I think you mean border-line???
ReplyDeletecute idea :) they make so many pretty shower curtains nowadays!
ReplyDeleteI’m sure that your little boy would be pleased. The curtain definitely goes well with the French door. The fabric you chose is not too feminine or masculine, which makes it ideal. And the color breaks the monotony of the wall and the door.[Rolf Matchen]
ReplyDeleteI agree with Rolf. I do think your little wonder boy loves this fixed French door, especially that door knob hanger. It’s just so cute! It perfectly fits the ever charming appeal of the French door. :’>

Really? What a classy boy he is to have the only French door! And the knob hanger was insanely brilliant, Sarah! I’m sure my brother would ask the same for his bedroom door when he sees this. :D I hope that curtain would finally work. I like the print, by the way! It’s not too flashy, but still remarkable! -->Mary Martin
